Abstract To improve the efficiency of internal and ex ternal business process chains a cont inuous and complete dig ital product and product ion descript ion is necessary. Using the feature technology as the informat ional backbone the integ rat ion of product specification and product modeling, simultaneous cost predict ion, process and resource description is possible.
