Static stiffness analysis of automotive BIW under different boundary constraint conditions

Abstract  Under the boundary ideal constraint condition, the body-in-white (BIW) static stiffness test system is complex and the cost is high. However, the error of using the boundary full constraint condition test is large, which cannot meet the accuracy requirement. To solve the problem above, a static stiffness simulation model of an automotive BIW under a certain boundary constraint condition was established, and the static stiffness of the BIW was numerically analyzed. Then, the effectiveness of the simulation model was verified by using the physical test. Based on the verified simulation model, the static stiffness simulation models of the BIW under 12 different boundary constraint conditions were established, and the contrast of the BIW static stiffness under different boundary constraint conditions was carried out. The results showed that there were 1 or 2 kinds of boundary over-constraint conditions which could replace the boundary ideal constraint condition in the static stiffness simulation analysis and test for the automotive BIW, and the error was within the range of -2%-2%. This method can not only reduce the test cost, but also meet the accuracy requirement. The research results have good promotion value and can provide references for automotive developers.

不同边界约束条件下某汽车白车身静刚度分析

边界理想约束条件下,汽车白车身静刚度试验测试系统复杂、成本高,而采用边界全约束条件测试时误差较大,不能满足精度要求。为解决上述问题,建立了某一边界约束条件下某汽车白车身静刚度仿真模型,并对白车身静刚度进行了数值分析,同时利用物理试验验证了该仿真模型的有效性。基于已验证的仿真模型,建立了12种不同边界约束条件下白车身静刚度仿真模型,并对比分析了不同边界约束条件下的白车身静刚度。结果表明,有1~2种边界过约束条件,可替代汽车白车身静刚度仿真分析及试验测试中的边界理想约束条件,其误差在-2%~2%范围以内,这既能降低试验测试费用,又满足了精度要求。研究结果具备较好的推广价值,可以为汽车开发人员提供参考。
