Abstract: With the purpose of proposing a suitable method of the evaluation about the tourism traffic accessibility of the destination inner part, this paper adopt accessibility index and the social network analysis to have a quantitative research on the scenic spots and the traffic accessibility of Xi’an city port. The study results are:①Tourism traffic has its own specificity, compared with the normal traffic, which can’t be simply measured by the traditional accessibility index of traffic. ②According to the social network analysis methods, the point centrality, the betweenness centrality and the average shortest path length are the appropriate indicators to measure the Point-to-point convenience, the Transit ease and the Network-wide direct convenience. And there are some appropriate indicators to measure the development degree of the internal tourism traffic network, such as the network density and the network centralization index.③Although the traffic connection level between attractions and the transportation ports and the scenic spots is good, the bus routes cannot completely meet the requirement of individual tourists, including the number and the distribution of tourism special line and the number of the airport shuttle bus sites and position, so the convenience of tourism transportation needs to be improved.④The distribution of Xi'an scenic spots has an extensive dispersion with localized concentrations feature, so it’s such an urgent to change the traffic connection of remote scenic and inner spots to make it more convenient to travel to those remote scenic spots.⑤Under the tendency of more individual travelers both international and domestic tourist market, a tourist city’s traffic should value the demands of individual travelers. The research put forward a new evaluation view of traffic accessibility. |
