DEMONSTRATION OF THE POLYMORPHISM OF VIRIONS AND THE DIVERSITY OF SPLITTING PRODUCTS OF EPIDEMIC HEMORRHAGIC FEVER VIRUS

The virions and splitting products of EHFV were examined by different electrophoresis and staining methods. The results showed that the EHFV was of polymorphism(bands of EHFV presented 6 viral particles arranged in good order,with different mobility and varied light or dark colours after staning) and extreme instability; the splitting process still went on even during preservation at -30℃. This might explain the different findings in its size and morphology by different researches. The polymorphism of EHFV might be related to different sources of virus,different solvents for extraction,different temperatures and storage periods at low temperature. The freezing-thawing and splitting method will help accelerate the investigation into the molecular biology of EHFV.

The synchronous identification method with necessary software and malignant arrhythmia identification logics(MAIL,hardware) was used in the computerized diagnosis system for malignant arrhythmias(MA),which could simultaneously measure the characteristic paramaters involved in normal QRS complex and in MA as well. Some reliable data of MA have been obtained. The electrocardiogram consilience rate(ECGCR) of MA in both experimental rabbits and rats was 100%. The results have come to the conclusion that this method could enhance the ability of this system to identify MA,increase the ECGCR of MA and quicken its identification.

In order to investigate the action of calcium antagonists on the metabolism of intracellular macromolecules,we have observed the effect of verapamil on the incorporation of [3H] TdR,[3H] UR and [3H] Leu into human fibroblasts(2BS) and rhesus endothelial cell(RF/6A). The inhibitory effect on DNA and RNA synthesis in 2BS was concentration-dependent,ID50 being 12.3μg/ml and 22μg/ml respectively. The inhibitory effect on DNA and protein synthesis in RF/6A,ID50 was 34.4μg/ml and 49.6μg/ml.

The growth of HR-8348 and HL-60 cells was inhibited significantly in vitro by Vitamine K3 of various concentrations(5,10 and 20μg/ml). Yet it was dose-dependent. The inhibitory effect on cell growth became stronger with longer contact of Vitamine K3 with HL-60 cells. The most potent inhibitory effect showed up 48 hours after the contact of cancer cells with 20μg/ml of vitamine K3. Co-administration of 5-FU 10μg/ml and Vitamine K3 5μg/ml to the HR-8348 cells in vitro for 48 hours did't exhibit any additive effect.
