Abstract TcpC is a homolog of the Toll/interleukin-1 receptor (TIR) domain and is secreted by uropathogenic E. coli strain CFT073. TcpC can bind to MyD88,hereby exerting inhibitory effects on macrophages. TcpC represents an important virulence factor that promotes bacterial survival and pathogenicity. TcpC plays a critical role in urinary tract infection,particularly in the pathogenesis of pyelonephritis. In this review,the progress and prospects in TcpC research are discussed.

TcpC研究现状与展望
TcpC是尿路致病性大肠埃希菌CFT073菌株分泌的一种Toll/interleukin-1 receptor(TIR)结构域类似物。它通过与髓样分化因子88结合,抑制Toll样受体信号途径介导的巨噬细胞活化和杀菌功能、从而逃逸机体免疫效应,利于大肠埃希菌在宿主体内的生存和繁殖,是大肠埃希菌重要的毒力因子,在肾盂肾炎等尿路感染发生中起重要作用。同时体内诱导β干扰素的TIR结构域衔接蛋白、干扰素调节因子3、以及白介素1β对TcpC发挥作用具有显著影响。本文介绍TcpC研究的现状和发展趋势。
