摘要:

作者等以聚氧乙烯链季按盐作相转移催化剂,用苯甲醛和氯仿为原料,能得到较高产率的扁桃酸。并在此基础上用价廉易得的混合型催化剂代替聚氧乙烯链季铵盐,同样取得令人满意的结果。

Abstract:

A new method for the synthesis of mandelic acid with polyoxyethylene chain quaternary ammonium or mixed catalysts as phase transfer catalysts is described in this paper. These catalysts seem to possess higher catalytic activity than the commonly used triethylbenzyl ammonium chloride and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide,and provide an effective way for the synthesis of mandelic acid.
