Abstract:Subway has gradually become an important public transportation in the big cities in China, which has also brought strong impact on the development of urban land. Taking Hangzhou metro line 1 as an example, by using cluster analysis method, the land development situation around 102 stations in the three periods from 2007 to 2018 was typically analyzed, and the land use characteristics, spatial distribution, change patterns and influencing factors of various types were discussed. 102 sites in three periods can be divided into 7 categories and 23 sub-categories. Their land use composition shows great diversity and strong location selectivity. Their patterns are changed mostly from suburban type to residential type and residential and service facility type. The development of non-construction land, the development of new residential land, the promotion of service function, the withdrawal of old residential and industrial land are the main influencing factors of type change, which guide the functional transformation of the land around the station and influence the urban spatial structure.
