Abstract：The design principle of monostable flip-flops is investigated in this paper.As required by the working features of monostable flip-flops, the design idea of monostable flip-flops w ith RC circuit as the timer unit is explained by using the transient phenomenon of signal changing resulted from the differential circuit or from ”the static race -hazard of signal”, and by linking the storage principle of signal feedback. It w ill not only contribute to the understanding of the w orking principle of monostable flip-flops, but also provide theoretical basis for the study of the non-stable flip-flop and the multiple-valued monostable flip-flop.
