Abstract： This paper deals with the study on Chinese endemic genera of seed plants distributed in Zhejiang .The results are summarized as follows:
1.There are 49 endemic g enera (including 3 endemic g enera of Zhejiang) of seed plants to China in Zhejiang province.Among them 29 genera are of monotypic, 10 genera are of oligotypic and 10 genera are of poly typic.
2.The characteristics of Chinese endemic genera of seed plants in Zhejiang province can be concluded as that :it has a large propo rtion of oligotypic and majo rity of woody plants, evident nature o f temperate , and is ancient in origin , obviously rare and endangered .
3.The mountain in the northwest of Zhejiang , especially the West Tianmu Mountain is the centre of endemic g enera of Chinese seed plants in Zhejiang .
4.Comparied with the abundance of Chinese endemic genera of seed plants among Zhejiang and neighbouring provinces , is Jiang xi>Anhui>Fujian >Jiangsu , and the similarity coefficient of g enera indicates the closer relationship to that of Jiangxi and Anhui than to that of Fujian and Jiangsu.
5.Based on the statistics of common g enera of Chinese endemic genera of seed plants betw een Zhejiang and some regions in China shows the closer relationship to that of E .China (46 g enera)and C.China (36 genera)than to that of S .China (32 genera)and W .-S .China (32 genera)and W.N .China (16 genera)and minimum with N.China and E.-N.China.
