Abstract：The conditions of MCM -41 sy nthesized from sodium silicate , cetyltrimety lammo nium bromide are investigated and the samples are characterized by XRD、IR、N2 adsorption、thermal analysis .The approx imate mechanism of the formation are discussed.The results show that the hexagonal structures are formed firstly , then transform to the layered.
