Abstract：Biological functions of estrogen are mediated by estrogen receptor (ER).Two ER subtypes(ERα and ERβ)have been found by now.A great deal of researches on structures and functions of two ER subtypes have been conducted.In this paper those research advances were reviewed.In addition,this paper also compared the structure and function of ERα with those of ERβ.
