Abstract: By analysis of the principle of multiple-β transistor, the ternary switch which combines multiple-β transistor with ECL is proposed. Based on thus, the ternary D latch, ternary D flip-flop and full-function ternary flip-flop are designed. The logic function and inspire function of full-function are discussed. The case of design in sequence circuits by using fullfunction flip-flop show that it can simplify the structure of circuit and improve the working speed.
